Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
The Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre has the responsibility of ensuring that the workplace is a safe working environment for its employees and students. This is achieved by:
* Properly documented work procedures which ensure the safety of the individual.
* Appropriate induction and training for staff and students.
* Regular inspections of the workplace for hazards.
The responsibility of individual staff and students is to:
* Ensure that their work practices are safe by documenting procedures so that safety concerns are addressed.
* Participate in training or review programs as appropriate.
* Undertake regular self-audits where necessary.
It is in everyone’s interest to assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
