Current Research

One of the main objectives of the Department is to generate new knowledge relevant to Psychiatry, Psychology and the Neurosciences through its research programs. Major contributions to the understanding of psychiatric disorders have been made by members of the Department since its inception. The expansion of the Department in recent years has brought together a nucleus of experienced researchers and clinicians with the capacity to ensure significant contributions into the future.

The breadth of the contribution of research groups within the Department is reflected by the research projects undertaken as well as the number of publications in internationally peer reviewed journals.
