Annual Research Publications Collection
Outcomes of the collection
The University of Melbourne annually collects data on all research publications published by staff and students of the University. The data provides the University with valuable information on the research activity of its staff. It uses the publications data as a key performance indicator in the analysis of research performance across departments and faculties and in benchmarking with other research intensive universities. Research publications data is also used in strategic planning and the allocation of internal and external funding resources.
These outcomes are detailed on the Research Office Research Data Collection and Performance web page.
